Pacific HemFir members are industry leaders in sustainable forest management and wood product manufacturing. Collectively, Pacific HemFir members produce the highest quality products in the world while voluntarily meeting Canada’s globally recognized certification standards. British Columbia contributes more than any other province giving customers added assurance that Pacific HemFir products come from legal, sustainable sources.

Our Members

Over 60 years of experience in the forestry industry and based along the Fraser River in Pitt Meadows, BC, Delta Forestry Group offers superior quality forestry products with customers and sustainability in mind. Their four separate divisions include Delta Timber, Delta Cedar Specialties, Delta Cedar Sawmill and Halo Sawmill, which ship quality forest products globally. 

Founded in 2004, Partap Forest Products is a family-owned business committed to producing the highest-quality Pacific Hem-Fir products.  Partap believes that the care and control they take to produce only high-quality finished lumber products has helped them forge the excellent working relationships they have with their valued customers and suppliers.

Based in Surrey, British Columbia, Riverside Forest Products is a long-time producer of high quality softwood products. The company has a diverse product line that includes lumber sizes up to 12” x 12” and lengths up to 40’.

The Teal Jones Group began operations in 1946 and has harvesting operations on Southern Vancouver Island and the Fraser Valley and Canyon areas. They are the largest privately owned timber harvesting and lumber product manufacturing company in B.C.

Western Forest Products is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia and has operations in the coastal region of B.C. and Washington state. WFP’s specialty wood products and diverse product range meet the needs of customers around the world.

BC Wood is a not-for-profit, industry-led trade association established in 1989 in partnership with government. BC Wood provides marketing programs to 120 wood products manufacturers, specializing in millwork, cabinets, furniture, engineered wood products, prebuilt housing, log homes and timber frame and remanufactured wood products.

The Independent Wood Processors Association is comprised of 55 independent sawmills, custom cutters, remanufacturers and value-added wood products companies throughout B.C. and works to add value to the secondary products sector.

Wood Preservation Canada (WPC) represents the treated wood industry. Dedicated to promoting and supporting the Canadian treated wood industry, the association operates under Federal Charter to serve as a forum for those interested in the phases of the pressure treated wood industryꟷincluding research, production, handling, specification and environmental stewardship.

COFI represents the majority of lumber, pulp and paper, and manufactured wood producers across the province and is an advocate for its members, working to promote a healthy, diversified and sustainable forest industry that benefits people and families across B.C.
