Pacific HemFir is a sustainable, climate-friendly and cost-effective specialty and engineered product alternative to other more carbon-intensive materials.

Natural and treated Pacific HemFir lumber and timbers are well-suited for applications like beams and stringers where appearance and strength are essential. Engineered wood products can also be constructed to handle heavy loads, long spans, and can be exceptionally long-lasting and more durable than other materials.

Pacific HemFir’s high bending strength and stiffness mean it can be used in projects including structurally engineered glue-laminated timbers for columns and beams for both residential and commercial applications, as well as mass timber projects incorporating framing, industrial, architectural, and premium grade glulam products.
